The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation will depute 15 doctors from its medical colleges to each of the screening/isolation/collection centres. Besides Kasturba Hospital, five new centres - Bhabha Hospital in Bandra, Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar, Bhagwati Hospital in Borivli, M T Agarwal Hospital in Mulund and Siddharth Hospital in Goregaon - opened their doors to Mumbaikars in the afternoon. They will be fully functional - from 8am to 8pm - from Sunday onwards “We appeal to Mumbaikars to go the centre nearest to their home for testing, so that the load on Kasturba Hospital is reduced,” said Manisha Mhaiskar, additional secretary in charge of health at the BMC.
