NEW DELHI: Schools across the country may soon do away with their morning assembly or their cultural and sports programmes. On a day when India recorded 220 fresh cases of H1N1 — the highest so far in a day — the Union health ministry issued fresh guidelines for schools, asking them to avoid large gatherings.
